The second group of the representatives from the National Defense University of Ukraine successfully passed Train the Trainer courses on using their new ADL platform, developed by the Jefferson Institute with the generous support of the Norwegian Ministry of Defense. A delegation from the National Defence University of Ukraine (NDUU) ADL Laboratory attended three days of training in Moodle and distance learning pedagogy at the Jefferson Institute office in Belgrade. Training was led by the Jefferson Institute's Biljana Presnall and the experts from the Serbia Military Academy ADL Center for Simulations and Distance Learning and with generous support of the Ministry of Defense of Kingdom of Norway.
This visit is a part of a two-year project to help stand up the initial core of a distance learning capability and ADL center at the NDUU.
Members of the Arctic Horizons Steering Committee met to identify and synthesize the core threads of the previous workshops and public contributions proffered between workshops. A small selection of guests joined the meeting with the aim of addressing diversity. Our target output for the workshop was a draft of the final report and outline of steps leading to the final report release.
