As a part of our STEEL-Rx project with US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Jefferson Institute served on the Exercise Evaluation and Lessons Learned teams in the Vigorous Warrior 24/Clean Care 24 exercise. This biennial multinational field exercise organized by the NATO Military Medicine Centre of Excellence (MILMED COE) assembled 42 medical units and 1600 personnel from 35 nations for joint tactical and operational training at the Hungarian Defence Forces BAKONY Combat Training Centre from April 28 to May 9, 2024.

Continuing our multi-year work with the National Defense University of Ukraine (NDUU), we provided a secure virtual environment and comprehensive logistics support for the NDUU’s fifth annual Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) conference on November 21, 2022, which included simultaneous Ukrainian-English language translation. The ongoing war made an in-person event impossible, but the successful online conference served to emphasize its theme: the experience and lessons learned from Ukraine for distributed training and education in wartime as a capability to sustain the fight.
