    The ARCTIC LIBRARY and ARCHIVE Workshop was a conversation among executives and thought leaders from international repositories and U.S. federal agencies with significant collections research programs on the Arctic. We assembled to outline a major new technology project to enable discovery and access to the world’s Arctic collections, in conjunction with encouraging the digitization of an extensive new base of primary sources on Arctic subjects including scientific, economic, geographic, cultural, ethnographic, historical, and political topics.
